New EQA for 2021: Gastrohepatology Disorders

EQA Updates

Enrolment is now open for this pilot EQA to all laboratories offering testing for Gastroenterology and Hepatology disorders. Disorders included in this EQA:

Hereditary Pancreatitis, Gilbert syndrome, Cholestasis, Hirschsprung disease, Polycystic liver disease and Intestinal failure

Up to four cases will be provided with DNA samples for testing
Detailed instructions provided
12 weeks to submit results as a diagnostic report
Marking criteria based on professional guidelines
Individual Laboratory Report (ILR) and EQA summary report provided
No performance monitoring (as this is a pilot EQA)
