This module provides an online competency assessment for risk
calculations.

Who can participate:

This assessment is a competency exercise and it is ideal for individuals with working knowledge in risk calculations. 

 

What is involved?

For each risk calculation modules, participants receive four cases (two for autosomal recessive and two for X-linked conditions), to determine the correct probability. Participants can choose to complete some or all the cases.

 

Information for Participants:

• If you have previously participated in a GenQA individual competency assessment (GENie), these modules will be automatically available to you. Log in to your account and give them a go!
• If you have not previously participated in a GenQA individual competency assessment (GENie), please click REGISTER NOW on this page. Once registered, participants have instant access to the module.
• Results are instantly automatically assessed once results are submitted.
• The predicted probabilities have been agreed by the panel of experts.

All participants will receive:

• Individual report which summarises their probability, including the expected answer. The individual reports include an extended explanation for the incorrect answers. Certificate of participation. Participants receive one CPD/CME hour per completed module.
