New EQAs

Genomic and Inherited Disorders

Inherited cytopenias (pilot) (GIC) NEW!
Targeted testing for mutations in genes associated with inherited cytopenias. Scenarios could include germline confirmation testing, testing of family members or confirmation of diagnostic results obtained from NGS or WGS panels.

Haematological Neoplasms

Bone Marrow Failure syndromes (pilot) (HBMF) NEW!
Presentation at a haematology clinic of an individual with haematological problems/neoplasia and a positive family history. NGS analysis of haematological samples for recurrent genomic abnormalities associated with inheritable bone marrow failure syndromes. For analysis of follow up germline samples, please see the Inherited cytopenias EQA.

Individual Competency Assessment

GENie Risk calculations (GENIER) NEW!
Competency assessment focused on risk calculations, including autosomal recessive and X-linked recessive conditions.
GENie Somatic Variant classification assessment (GENIEVS) NEW!
Individual competency assessment for somatic variant classification including solid tumours and haemato-oncology, provided by the GenQA genomic education platform GENie.

Molecular Pathology

Genitourinary tract tumours (TGTT) NEW!
Genitourinary tract tumours
Solid tumour FISH (TSTF) NEW!
FISH testing for recurrent abnormalities in solid tumours.

Pharmacogenomics

Pharmacogenomics: UGT1A1 (pilot) (PGXU) NEW!
Molecular testing of the UGT1A1 gene.
