Second Free WGS/WES Proportionate Variant Analysis Assessment – Enrolment Now Open

 

Enrolment is now open for the second free assessment for Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) / Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) proportionate variant analysis. The assessment will be available from Tuesday, 16th December 2025 until Friday, 30th January 2026, 23:59 GMT.

 

This assessment is designed for individuals performing WGS/WES analysis and provides assurance of competency in analysing genomic data efficiently and accurately, in line with the ACGS position statement.

 

Participants will be asked to review and prioritise variants in six clinical WGS/WES case scenarios. No further analysis or reporting is required, and each case must be completed in a single session.

 

How to Register and Start the Assessment

• To begin the assessment, visit www.genqa.org and login using the blue Member Login button at the top of the page.

• Instructions are provided in the first section of the assessment.

Once the assessment is completed, GenQA will host an educational webinar to discuss expected results and summarise the EQA findings. Following this, participants will receive:

• A certificate of participation – earn 1 CPD/CME hour per completed module

• A summary report to support benchmarking against expert-predicted variant prioritisation
