These modules provide an online competency assessment for the classification of Haemato-Oncology and Solid Tumours variants.
Who can participate?
Individuals who classify the oncogenicity of Haemato-Oncology and/or Solid Tumours variants.
What is involved?
Participants can participate in the Haemato-Oncology and/or the solid tumours modules. For each assessment, participants receive six variants to classify. Participants can choose to classify some or all of the variants. For each variant classification submitted, participants should also provide the criteria evidence for their classification.
Information for participants:
- If you already have participated in other GENie modules you will receive details when the modules are available.
- Once registered, participants have instant access to both the Haemato-Oncology and Solid Tumours modules.
- Both modules include associated referral information.
- Results are instantly automatically assessed once results are submitted.
- The predicted classifications have been agreed by an international panel of experts.
- We recommend using the SVIG-UK 2025 or Horak et al., 2022
On completion of each assessment:
All participants will receive:
- Individual report which summarises their classification, including the expected classification and criteria
- Certificate of participation
How do I enrol?
There is no fee to participate in the first module for tumour variant classification.
