New EQA for 2020: Classification of Postnatal Copy Number Variants (CNV)

EQA Updates

Enrolment is now open for this online, educational EQA for all laboratories offering postnatal CNV analysis and interpretation using microarrays:

Four online case scenarios with phenotypic information and microarray CNV data from real postnatal cases will be provided in January 2021.
Detailed instructions provided.
6 weeks to submit results.
Submit your CNV classification, evidence and reporting decisions on a proforma.
Classifications assessed by expert panel.
Marking criteria based on professional guidelines.
Individual Laboratory Report (ILR) and EQA summary report provided.
This is an exploratory pilot EQA and therefore there will be no performance monitoring.
Participation is free.
